WNAM Monitoring: Uzbekistan’s diplomats held talks in Shanghai with Zhou Minhao, Chairman of the Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Zhou Jiqi, Chairman of the Regional Federation of Industry and Commerce.
The Chinese side was informed of Uzbekistan’s economic potential and the vast opportunities it created for business activities.
The Chinese representatives noted with satisfaction that today, the scale of trade and economic relations between the two countries is expanding. It was noted that it is essential to increase further the activity of leading companies based in Shanghai.
The parties exchanged views on attracting companies in electronics, biotechnology, green energy, food, and other fields to invest in projects.
The parties reviewed the schedule of exhibitions and forums to be held in 2024. Details of joint events and visits planned for the next year were also discussed.
