WNAM REPORT: Mammetguly Astanagulov has been appointed as the new national coordinator of the European Union for international technical assistance from the Government of Turkmenistan and the World Bank manager from Turkmenistan. The corresponding decree was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during an extended government meeting, as per reports.
In these positions, Astanagulov replaced Serdar Dzhorayev, who was previously dismissed from the post of Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan. Before his new appointment, Mammetguly Astanagulov held the post of Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy.
