WNAM MONITORING: The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, participated on Wednesday in the opening ceremony of the Bäherden ceramic products factory, located in the Baherden district of the Ahal velayat, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.
Deputy Prime Ministers, the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications, heads of law enforcement agencies, ministries, and sectoral departments, the head of administration of the Ahal velayat, and representatives of the public attended the event.
The new production complex includes factories for producing ceramic tiles and sanitary ware, along with repair workshops, administrative offices, and residential facilities.
The factory, equipped with machinery from leading manufacturers in Italy, Germany, and Türkiye, created over 450 jobs.
Located on an area of 30 hectares, the factory will produce 3.3 million square meters of tiles and 120,000 units of sanitary products annually.
Representatives of Italian companies noted that the facility’s equipment meets international standards for quality, safety, and environmental friendliness. Moreover, over 93% of the raw materials for production will come from local suppliers.
During the ceremony, Serdar Berdimuhamedov familiarized himself with the factory’s products and officially launched its operations.
At the end of the ceremony, the head of state presented the factory management with keys to new equipment.
