ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): The Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, Alisher Tukhtaev, officially inaugurated the three-day “Food Fest Uzbekistan 2025” at Centaurus Mall Islamabad. The festival, which runs until Monday, aims to bring Uzbekistan and Pakistan closer together, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Uzbekistan.¹
Fifteen prominent Uzbek food companies are participating in the festival, offering a wide range of products, including dairy, bakery, juice, meat, sausages, and dry fruits. The event is a unique opportunity for Pakistani businesses to explore new markets, engage with Uzbek counterparts, and discuss potential collaborations in trade and joint projects.
Ambassador Tukhtaev emphasized the significance of the festival, stating that it is a journey into the heart of Uzbek culture, where each product tells a story of nomadic traditions, ancient cities, grand feasts, and simple family meals. He encouraged Pakistani partners to explore new markets and discuss potential collaborations.
The event was attended by ambassadors, diplomats, business leaders, and people from different walks of life. Ambassador Tukhtaev expressed his gratitude to Sardar Yasir, CEO of Centaurus Mall, for hosting the event.
