WNAM MONITORING: An exhibition dedicated to the 17th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) opened at the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat. As part of the event, the international forum Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan also began.
President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, sent greetings to the event participants. ‘The development of the private sector is one of the priority directions of the national economy. These large-scale events also demonstrate that the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, successfully utilizing state support, have become the driving force behind the economy of our sovereign Motherland,’ the letter from the head of state notes, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.
The exhibition features goods and services in sectors such as the food and light industry, building materials production, textiles, electronics, furniture, as well as trade, education, advertising, and printing.
The international forum and exhibition will run until March 19.
