President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended an official invitation to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, to visit Azerbaijan, as reported by Turkmenistan’s state media on Wednesday.
In an official letter, Aliyev emphasized the strong ties between the two nations, rooted in shared historical and cultural traditions. He also expressed appreciation for Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s personal contributions to strengthening bilateral relations and advancing the strategic partnership between Baku and Ashgabat.
The President of Azerbaijan expressed confidence that the upcoming visit would contribute to the expansion of cooperation between Baku and Ashgabat, and reaffirmed his readiness to continue constructive dialogue.
Aliyev concluded his message by wishing Berdimuhamedov good health and success, and extended his best wishes for prosperity and well-being to the people of Turkmenistan.
