A cursory glance at the nomination papers filed in KPK for the forthcoming elections reveal that almost all the political bigwigs in every political party have succeeded to field their next of kin for assemblies which goes on to prove that dynastic politics prevail in KPK, ,hook,line and sinker. Things must be the same in other provinces of the country too.
A noteworthy difference,however, can be seen in Jamaate Islami in which there is no trace of dynastic politics at all .Had it been so Qazi Hussain Ahmad and Maulvi Sirajul Haque would not have made it to the top in that party
Unless and untill grass root workers would not be given an opportunity to come to the forefront in the party true democracy simply cannot be practised both in the party as well as in the country.
The Election Commission had better also check whether or not the nominated candidates deposited any money in the party’s funds which had nominated them and if so what was the exact deposited amount?
