WNAM REPORT: The 20th anniversary meeting of the foreign ministers of the European Union and Central Asian countries will take place in Ashgabat today. The key topic of the talks will be the discussion of progress in implementing the “EU-Central Asia 2030 Roadmap for Enhanced Cooperation”, adopted in October last year. This was stated in an interview with the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan” by the Ambassador of the European Union to the country Beata Peksa.
According to her, during the meeting, EU High Representative Kaja Kallas and the foreign ministers of the Central Asian countries will discuss five key areas of partnership: deepening political dialogue, strengthening economic ties, cooperation in the field of energy and climate, developing contacts between people and mobility issues.
