A new year, 2024, is coming to our land.
In these wonderful moments, I sincerely congratulate our respected veterans, lovely women, representatives of all spheres and industries, purposeful youth, compatriots abroad – all our multinational people on this wonderful holiday.
Dear friends!
Of course, in life, along with joy and success, there are also worries and problems. But people can overcome any challenge with dignity thanks to their intellect, selfless work, and strong will.
The outgoing year has been successful for our country and people. The most important thing is peace and tranquility in the country, an atmosphere of interethnic friendship and harmony.
For the first time in our history, in a nationwide referendum, we adopted a renewed Constitution of the country. We have begun implementing the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy, which determines our development for the future.
Many large, authoritative forums were held at a high level.
We have put forward essential initiatives in the international arena.
We ensured sustainable rates of economic growth.
High-tech industrial enterprises, modern logistics and infrastructure networks, kindergartens and schools, cultural and sports facilities are being built in the country. New jobs are being created. The appearance of our cities and villages is changing, and the population’s standard of living is increasing.
Thanks to the united work of our people, the dream of a New Uzbekistan is becoming a reality. I express my sincere gratitude to you, dear compatriots, for all the success we have achieved.
Dear friends!
Our main task is to enhance the honor and dignity of a person, ensure the interests of the population, and, for this purpose, build a strong economy. We declared 2024 the Year of Support for Youth and Business in Uzbekistan.
In the new year, we will intensify the attraction of foreign investment and create broad opportunities for entrepreneurship and private property. We will pay special attention to the development of science, innovation, the IT sector, and the creation of green and digital technologies.
The focus will be on creating new jobs and increasing the incomes of the population. Wages, pensions, scholarships, and benefits will be increased. We will continue to fully support women and members of the older generation, everyone who needs help and assistance. We will raise the development of the social sphere to an entirely new level.
The priority task will remain to strengthen the independence of the Motherland and the combat potential of the Armed Forces.
We will mobilize all our strength and capabilities to build a new life, a New Uzbekistan.
