In the communist countries where owing to strict censorship on the media regarding news relating to their heads of state , whenever they were away from public view for a long time, rumours about their health used to spread which the official media then had to quell by issuing handouts to the press saying that they were quite well physically.
In the West no such thing happens therefore many political observers felt it strange when the official quarters in Washington the other day issued a press release saying that President Trump is up and about and his mental and physical health is quite ok.
May be his advisors thought that many Americans in particular and political observers abroad were showing concern over his mental health on a plethora of topsy turvy decisions taken by him affecting America’s relations with many countries which had raised concerns about his mental health and whether or not he is in proper frame of mind.
Needless to add some quarters in the US had also raised questions on his physical health.
