It seems that the marriage of convenience between the PPP and Nawaz League is in the doldrums over the canal water issue and before long they are likely to call it a day unless saner counsel prevails among their leadership.
There is no gainsaying the fact that deep down there is no love lost between the leaders of these two political parties and it is only their quest to remain in the corridors of power that has made them enter into their present political wedlock. Zardari wanted Presidency and Nawaz League Premiership which they got by cuddling up with each other.
This unnatural companionship was not likely to last long so cracks were likely to be seen in their edifice which have now started appearing.

Iran and the US are on the brink of a war. Trump’s unstinted support to Tel Aviv over its barbaric acts against hapless Palestinians are abominable surpassing those of Hitlerian war crimes in the second world war.
What a pity that instead of putting his foot down and telling Israeli leadership to stop the genocide of Palestinians as enough is enough, Trump is trying to please Tel Aviv by bullying Iran to stop its nuclear program. If he is so concerned about saving humanity from nuclear programs why doesn’t he finishes America’s own nuclear system first and then ask other countries who have such nuclear arsenals to also dismantle theirs.
Why this discrimination in the matter ?
