ISLAMABAD: (WNAM REPORT) President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, visited the Embassy of Vietnam to offer condolences on the sad demise of the former President of Vietnam, H.E. Tran Duc Luong. During the visit, President Qureshi met with the Ambassador of Vietnam, H.E. Pham Anh Tuan, and conveyed heartfelt sympathies on behalf of the business community of Islamabad.
He paid glowing tributes to the late leader for his distinguished services to the Vietnamese nation and for his contributions to regional peace and development. President Qureshi also recorded his remarks in the condolence book placed at the embassy.
He was accompanied by Senior Vice President Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, Vice President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry, Executive Members Waseem Chaudhry, Raja Naveed Satti, Rohail Anwar Butt, and ICCI member Mohammad Maqsood.
On this solemn occasion, First Secretary of the Embassy Pham Hong Quang and Second Secretary Quang Cuc were also present.
The visit underscored the strong bonds of respect and cooperation between the business communities of Pakistan and Vietnam.
