Time was when words like Pravda and Izvestia were excessively used in media in news about the Soviet Union. Pravda means Truth in Russian language and Izvestia means News. While former was official tabloid of Soviet government the latter was that of the Communist party.
In those days due to stringent curbs on media in Soviet Union very little news used to filter through Moscow. The western political observers sardonically said if you read Pravda there is no Izvestia in it and if you read Isvestia there is no Pravda in it.

Trump has now come out quite in the open in his support of Tel Aviv. His threat of bombing Iran in case it didn’t accept American formula on ceasefire against Israel is a very dangerous development and it was about time the Secretary General of the UN showed his grit in the matter and stopped the situation from taking an ugly turn.
Nobody will be able to save the humanity from utter annihilation if the present Iran-Israel war prolonged for a couple of days more.
