ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Professor Dr. Aurangzeb Khan, Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Dewan University, participated in a special Vice Chancellors Forum held at the COMSTECH Secretariat in Islamabad, organized in honor of Vice Chancellors from leading universities of Bangladesh.
The forum brought together heads of 15 top universities from across Pakistan, along with prominent Vice Chancellors from Bangladesh. The event was graced by H.E. Mr. Md. Iqbal Hossain Khan, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Pakistan, and Professor Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of COMSTECH.
The primary objective of the forum was to foster bilateral cooperation between Pakistani and Bangladeshi universities in the fields of research, higher education, and academic exchange at both student and faculty levels.
On this occasion, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Dewan University signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with several leading Bangladeshi institutions — including North South University, Islamic International University, Asia Pacific University, and Daffodil International University. These MoUs aim to promote student exchange, collaborative research, scholarship opportunities, and faculty development initiatives.
This initiative marks a significant step toward strengthening long-term academic collaboration between the two countries.
