WNAM MONITORING; Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov on Tuesday presented a proposal to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to equip his sector with modern geophysical equipment during a Cabinet meeting held via video conference.
According to Turkmenistan’s state news agency, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers reported on ongoing efforts to strengthen the material and technical base of the Turkmengaz State Concern.
The report noted that essential work is underway to develop the fuel and energy sector, explore, discover, and efficiently develop oil and gas fields. Particular emphasis is placed on introducing innovative technologies and the latest scientific advancements into production.
President Berdimuhamedov, after hearing the report, acknowledged the effective work being carried out in the country to explore underground hydrocarbon reserves and ensure the reliable operation of gas transmission systems. In this regard, the president approved the proposal to further improve the material and technical base of the Turkmengaz State Concern and instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to implement the necessary measures.
The Cabinet meeting also addressed several other issues related to the country’s social and economic life.
