Speed kills

A recent survey reveals that cancer and heart diseases don’t kill as many people in this country every year as does rash driving as a result of which many people kick the bucket due to traffic accidents on our roads. Is it not a fact that parents or guardians of parent less children don’t bother a whit to ensure that their offspring and wards are in possession of driving license while they drive any type of vehicle. The traffic police also look the other way while drivers on the wheels over speed even on roads running through city bazaars. The victims of road accidents even if they survive had to spend their rest of life physically incapacitated till their death.
Not to speak of the US or European countries even countries of Emirates have been able to evolve a road traffic system in which it is not easy for residents of those countries to obtain driving license by greasing the palm of somebody without passing a stringent driving test or get away with lightly once they are caught violating any traffic rule. There is no fool proof system in vogue in this country which could ensure that only that vehicle is allowed to run on our roads which is hundred percent mechanically fit in every respect.
