The American authorities have decided to have a relook at the immigration cases of about 55 million immigrants for sorting out those of them who have been living in the US illegally as it is suspected that many terrorists have also found their way to America through dubious methods so Pakistanis desirous of going to US will have to go through a strict visa regimen in future.

The CSS results of 2025 announced the other day by Federal Public Service Commission revealed that a little over 2 percent candidates could pass through written test. This marked decline in pass percentage might be due to fall in the educational standards or tough examination papers.
We do need a highly qualified civil service but what is expected more from it is, its high level of commitment to serve the humanity and its easy accessibility to all and sundry. Of course impeccable financial integrity should also be the hallmark of its members.
