ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Pakistan International Disputes Weekend 2025 has concluded after two days of high-level dialogue, innovation, and international collaboration in the field of arbitration and dispute resolution.The event brought together legal experts, policymakers, and institutional leaders from more than twenty countries, positioning Pakistan as an emerging regional hub for cross-border dispute resolution.
Hosted on the 11th and 12th of October, the conference was chaired by Barrister Mian Sheraz Javaid, and featured leading international institutions including the London Court of International Arbitration, No.5 Barristers’ Chambers (UK), the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation, and the Society of Construction Law.
The keynote address was delivered by Barrister Aqeel Malik, Minister of State for Law and Justice, who praised the initiative as a milestone in strengthening Pakistan’s role in global arbitration.
Experts discussed CPEC disputes, investment arbitration, and legal innovation, while innovation showcases highlighted the future of technology-driven dispute resolution. The event concluded with a call for greater international cooperation and reform in alternative dispute resolution — marking a major step in Pakistan’s journey toward becoming a global leader in arbitration and legal excellence.
