ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): Chaudhry Mazhar, Chairman of the Foreign Delegation Committee of the Islamabad Estate Agents Association, stated that in light of the recent war-like situation, Pakistan is emerging as a safe and attractive hub for investment. He said that investors are willing to come to Pakistan, but there is a need to introduce a one-window solution to facilitate them.
He added that the Prime Minister of Pakistan has indicated a historic package for the construction sector, and demanded that it be announced at the earliest so that the prevailing uncertainty in the market can be addressed.
He further said that given the current global circumstances, this is the best time to present Pakistan as an alternative and secure market. For this purpose, the government should introduce investor-friendly policies in the upcoming budget, simplify the tax system, and make it easier to start businesses. Such steps could encourage a large number of overseas Pakistanis to invest in the country.
