WNAM REPORT: The death toll in the war-torn Gaza Strip has risen to 72,610 since the conflict between Hamas and Israel erupted on October 7, 2023, with the number of injuries reaching 172,448, Gaza’s health authorities said Sunday.
The authorities said that since the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect on Oct. 10 last year, 830 Palestinians have been killed and 2,345 others injured.
Many bodies are believed to remain unrecovered under rubble.
