Falling standard of global political leadership

The meeting between the prime ministers of Israel, Cyprus and Greek the other day in Jerusalem was not without good reasons. Both Cyprus and Greek nurse a soft corner for Tel Aviv and this meeting at this critical hour of Israel with their leaders can be billed as a morale booster for Tel Aviv.

Post Script: England is bracing for a new premier . The outgoing prime minister didn’t deliver. The Labour party since long didn’t have men of caliber as prime ministers. The same is true of the conservative party . Small wonder mediocres have been  becoming tenants of the 10 Downing Street. Men like Disraeli, Gladstone, Churchill are in short supply these days and a rare commodity lately thus paving the way for persons like Farage to fill in the gap. In fact the falling standard of political leadership is a universal phenomena. Gone are the days when persons like Roosevelt, Lenin, Tito, de Gaulle Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Nehru, Cho En Lai, Nelson Mandela, and their likes adorned the political stage of the world which has been occupied by the pygmies instead of them lately.
