WNAM REPORT: Caretaker Interior Minister Dr. Gohar Ijaz, accompanied by Secretary Interior Aftab Akbar Durrani, paid a visit to the Federal Investigation Agency Headquarters. The Minister was honored with a Guard of Honor by a contingent of FIA officers.
The Interior Minister participated in a high-level meeting with FIA officials, where he received a comprehensive briefing on Agency’s operations. The meeting was attended by all ADGs, Directors, and other senior officers . The Minister was presented a report highlighting the annual performance of all FIA wings.
Commending the performance of the wings, the Caretaker Minister praised the initiation of projects aimed at modernizing FIA to meet contemporary requirements. He emphasized the increasing importance of modern technology in addressing the challenges of the modern world. The Minister stressed the need for effective use of technology to combat human smuggling, trafficking and cybercrime.
He called for enhancing the capacity of FIA officials and ensuring their adaptability to modern technological requirements. The caretaker Minister urged the optimal utilization of all resources to improve public service delivery.
