Japanese companies are interested in investing in housing management projects in Uzbekistan

WNAM The Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services Ozoda Jurayeva held discussions with representatives from Japanese companies Agnostri, Hamaya, Aria Investment Trust, Serious Pro Support, Granasset, and Global Silk Road. The topics included developing the apartment building management system, attracting foreign direct investment to the sector, enhancing management companies’ operations, and expanding modern public services.

As noted during the meeting, Japanese investors have already begun implementing a project in Khorezm region. They have started managing approximately 50 apartment buildings that previously lacked a management organization, carrying out their comprehensive renovation, and introducing a modern management and service system.Furthermore, representatives of Japanese companies suggested taking over management of apartment buildings in Tashkent that lack management coverage. They likewise proposed integrating advanced Japanese practices, digital management tools, modern technical solutions, and high-quality services into the housing management sector.The parties demonstrated their willingness to strengthen cooperation to establish a long-term partnership in managing apartment housing, advancing promising investment initiatives, and aligning the quality of services offered to the public with international standards.
