WNAM REPORT: President of the D-12 Markaz Traders Association and Deputy General Secretary of the Islamabad Estate Agents Association, Muhammad Nauman, has said that the sewerage and sanitation problems in D-12 Markaz have become a major source of hardship for traders and the public. He stated that due to the blocked sewerage system, dirty water accumulates at various places inside Swiss Plaza, while the inadequate drainage system and unsatisfactory sanitation arrangements are not only disrupting business activities but also creating daily difficulties for visitors and residents.
Muhammad Nauman said that D-12 Markaz is an important commercial hub of Islamabad; however, the lack of basic civic facilities is affecting its appearance and business environment. He urged the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to immediately clean the sewerage lines, improve the drainage system, and launch a regular sanitation campaign to ensure a permanent solution to these issues.
