ISLAMABAD( WNAM REPORT ):President of G-8 Markaz and the Islamabad Motor Dealers Association, Ajab Khan, has urged the government to lift restrictions on business hours in the federal capital, allowing traders sufficient time to conduct their business and easing the challenges faced by the business community.
Ajab Khan said that markets in Islamabad provide livelihoods to thousands of traders and a large number of employees. Restricting market hours is adversely affecting businesses, shopkeepers’ incomes and overall commercial activity.
He noted that the business community is already facing multiple challenges amid the prevailing economic conditions, and restrictions on operating hours are adding to their difficulties.
Ajab Khan called on the government to lift business-hour restrictions across all markets in Islamabad and allow traders to operate according to their normal schedules to support commercial activity, protect livelihoods and facilitate the business community.
