President appoints Arrmanatha Nasir as new Foreign Minister

Jakarta (WNAM) – President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated Arrmanatha Christiawan Nasir as Minister of Foreign Affairs, replacing Sugiono, at a ceremony held at the State Palace in Jakarta on Thursday.

Arrmanatha was appointed under Presidential Decree No. 105/P of 2026 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Ministers and Deputy Ministers of State for the 2024–2029 Red and White Cabinet. The decree was issued by President Prabowo Subianto.

“I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and faithfully uphold all laws and regulations to the best of my ability in my service to the nation and state,” Arrmanatha said as he took the oath.

After taking the oath, the former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs signed the minutes of the inauguration, witnessed by President Prabowo, who then also signed the document.

President Prabowo then extended his best wishes to Arrmanatha and his family, as well as to the other ministers and deputy ministers inaugurated on Thursday. State officials attending the ceremony also conveyed their best wishes.
