More often than not, many of our Assembly Members use unparliamentary language on the floor of the House against one another. Quite often they come to blows and fisticuffs also and Assembles present a spectacle of fish market. This had once led, not too-distant past, former President Ayub Khan to remark that Parliamentary doesn’t suit the genius of our people
May one remind our politicians who trade in use of abuse language that during second world war Hitler in his speeches used filthy language against British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. Once a newsman drew his attention to Hitler’s abusive language against him and invited his comments on it.
In reply Churchill said only one sentence which was hundred times weighty than what Hitler had been saying against him. He said it seems Hitler didn’t have good Primary education. Can’t our politicians in their slanging matches against one another follow the example of Churchill?
