WNAM MONITORING: International community should bring together efforts to eliminate the landmine threat in Azerbaijan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan posted in X page.
“Armenian planted landmines continue threatening the lives of innocent Azerbaijani civilians. Today, four Azerbaijani civilians became victims of another landmine explosion. Refusal by Armenia to provide accurate maps of landmines in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, delays the process of large-scale rehabilitation and reconstruction works as well as return of internally displaced persons and undermines peace building efforts in the region,” the statement said.
