The chief justice of Pakistan has very rightly observed that the gentleman of the Fourth Estate, ,as a measure of abundant caution, must doubly verify veracity of all news items before publishing them.Truer words were never spoken.
It has been observed that due check and balance is not being observed by the concerned authorities over the different news items shown or published in the so called social media Freedom of expression ,no doubt,is the basic human right of every one but that does not mean that under the garb of this right it is abused or misused .Isn’t it a fact that social media is bursting at the seams with a plethora of such videos which no honorable person can see while sitting together with his family members in his house because of the rampant obscenity in them. Time was that whenever any cinema owner felt that any film which is going to be screened in his cinema house contain any scenes which are going to offend the sensibility of people he used to get written on the publicity board of that film words like FOR ADULTS ONLY. Besides,no movie could be exhibited in any cinema house if it wasn’t issued clearance certificate by the censor board. Such was the extent of care exercised by the powers that be No longer is the case now ,however,since long . It is free_for _all.
