ISLAMABAD(WNAM REPORT ): President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari has said that the educational institutions in the capital city are facing multiple problems which need to be addressed on priority basis for the advancement of literacy rate in the country. He has also drawn the attention of the Federal Education Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui towards the dilapidated condition of the Islamabad Model College for Girls G-13 by saying that the College is in short of all the basics like teaching staff, security staff, furniture, Laboratory, playground, buses, clean drinking water etc.
ICCI President said this during his visit to the College during which he was apprised of the problems the College is facing.
On getting the acquaintance of the problems, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari announced the provision of five computers, installation of a water filtration plant and a full-fledged First Aid Box for the College from his own pocket. He also demanded appointment of permanent teaching staff in the college and announced to cover the cost of the computer teacher by himself.
Earlier upon his arrival he was welcomed by the Principal, College Committee members as well as the elders of the area.
During his visit to Islamabad College for Boys G-13 he announced the installation of a water filtration plant and the provision of a First Aid Box from his own exchequer by saying that the reasonable amounts have to be allocated for the education sector for the development of the country.
Elders of the areas praised Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari for his bigheartedness to boost the education and prayed for his long life and success in every field of life.
ICCI members Khalid Chaudhry, Nasir Chaudhry, Nisar Mirza , Waseem Chaudhry and Faizan Shahzad were also accompanying the President.
