WNAM MONITORING: In June, Turkmenistan will host large-scale cultural and sporting events dedicated to significant dates and holidays. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Mahrijemal Mammedova during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
Celebrations are planned on the occasion of International Children’s Day, World Bicycle Day, World Environment Day, Science Day, celebration of the Day of Cultural and Art Workers, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi and Gurban Bayram. Forums, conferences, exhibitions and concerts will be held within the framework of the 2024 motto “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”.
Young citizens can expect a rich program with creative competitions, intellectual competitions and sports competitions. On June 1, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation will sum up the results of the Biz – Arkadag Serdarly Watanyň bagtyýar nesilleri children’s drawing competition and award the winners. The Children’s Tennis Festival will be held in the Olympic village of Ashgabat.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high level of holding all events and planned opening ceremonies of social and cultural facilities in June.
