TEHRAN: Isfahan Nuclear Zone was named after martyr President Raeisi at the order of Iran’s Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami.
Head of the Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami traveled to Isfahan Province Thursday morning to inaugurate the Isfahan Process Radiation Center and participate in the renaming ceremony of the Isfahan Nuclear Zone.
Isfahan Nuclear Zone was named after martyr President Raeisi in honor of the services and memory of the martyr President, his accompanying delegation, and the martyrs of the nuclear industry.
Eslami noted that Nuclear science will improve the position, reputation, and prosperity of Iran, stressing that nuclear technology should be used in various aspects more than before.
Referring to the opening of the Isfahan Process Irradiation Complex with the aim of pest control and increasing the storage of agricultural products, he said that 12 regions of the country are supposed to operate in the field of radiation, and Isfahan is considered the first pole among the twelve poles.
