WNAM MONITORING: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as part of his working trip to the Dashoguz region on Wednesday, participated in celebrations marking the commissioning of a new high-voltage power transmission line Balkan-Dashoguz.
As reported by Turkmenistan’s official media, the work on laying the 572 km-long Balkan-Dashoguz power line was completed by domestic energy construction workers.
The Head of State also took part in the opening ceremony of two 500 kV substations constructed along this route as part of the project to create a unified power ring for the country.
The commissioning of these new significant power industry facilities, the 500 kV Balkan-Dashoguz power line and two substations, marked the successful completion of the grand project to create a unified power ring.
