WNAM REPORT: A delegation of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy (ILLP) under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by Director M. Rakhmankulov visited the UK.
During the visit, a discussion panel was organized on the constitutional reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, and several meetings were held with the leadership and professors of the School of Government of the University of Birmingham, the University of Warwick, the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford.
The British side highly appreciated the large-scale democratic and legal reforms, including the adoption of a renewed Constitution based on the referendum results.
Following the talks, agreements were reached on involving British specialists in the ILLP’s research and educational activities, conducting joint research and scientific and practical events, and organizing internships and masterclasses for the institute’s experts in the UK.
