WNAM REPORT: Secretary Boards and Universities of Sindh, Muhammad Abbas Baloch assured Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) of his full support in allocation of government land for construction of Regional campus of the university at Hyderabad.
The assurance came in a meeting between Abbas Baloch and a delegation of AIOU led by Vice Chancellor Allama Iqbal Open University, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mehmood at his office the other day.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mehmood briefed him on the university’s regional network in various parts of Sindh, particularly in remote areas, and its educational services.
Dr. Nasir Mahmood requested support from the Secretary for acquiring land for the construction of the Hyderabad campus. Director General Regional Services, Dr. Malik Tauqir Ahmad Khan, and Director Admissions, Syed Zia ul Hassnain Naqvi, accompanied the Vice Chancellor during the meeting.
