WNAM REPORT: Since the beginning of the year, the Halachi cotton yarn factory in the Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan has exported more than 1000 tons of finished products to six countries, including Armenia, Poland, Iran, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Russia. This constitutes half of all products produced at the enterprise, the volume of which has already exceeded 2300 tons. Every day the factory produces 14-16 tons of high-quality yarn thanks to the uninterrupted operation of modern equipment from leading European manufacturers.
The successes of the textile industry are only part of the positive news from various regions of the country. In Ahal velayat, preparations are underway for the autumn shearing of sheep, and livestock breeders have already exceeded the target for offspring by 101,5%.
At the “Guvlyduz” salt plant in Balkan velayat, about 57 364 tons of salt were produced over seven months, which is 1600 tons more than planned.
In Dashoguz velayat, the private enterprise “Amantai” is increasing the production of high-quality wicker furniture, which is in high demand. And in Mary velayat, intensive preparation of wheat seeds for autumn sowing is underway using modern equipment.
