ISLAMABAD( WNAM REPORT): A prestigious ceremony was held by Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) to celebrate 77th Independence Day of Islamic Republic of Pakistan at National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC). Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali, Chairman, PARC and Dr. Shahzad Asad DG NARC, Sr. Management along-with employees of NARC gathered to hoist national flag, followed by recitation of Holy Quran and National Anthem.
Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali, Chairman, PARC emphasized to remember the unforgettable sacrifices of our ancestors for create Pakistan, and now, it is our prime duty to make Pakistan more prosperous, progressive and forwarding in every sphere of life. Dr. Ali reiterated the council’s unwavering commitment to contribute towards the Green Pakistan initiative, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices in agriculture. Dr. Ali said that through research and development, PARC is dedicated to introduce cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices to boost agricultural productivity, improve farmer livelihoods, and ensure food security for the nation. Chairman PARC also initiated plantation drive by planting a tree.
