At the invitation of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, Chinese Premier Li Qiang will travel to Russia to chair the 29th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian heads of government and visit Russia and Belarus from August 20 to 23, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Monday.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said Li and Mishustin will exchange in-depth views on bilateral relations, practical cooperation and issues of common interest.
According to the press service of the Russian government, Russian President Vladimir Putin will also receive the visiting Chinese premier.
During Li’s visit to Belarus, he will hold talks with his Belarusian counterpart on China-Belarus relations and cooperation in various fields, Mao told reporters at a daily press briefing.
