WNAM MONITORING: The Turkmenistan Investment Forum, TIF 2024, will take place in Ashgabat on September 10-11, having been rescheduled from its originally planned dates of October 19-20, 2024. The date change was made to align with adjustments to the schedule of state-level events in the country, according to the forum’s organizing committee.
TIF 2024 is set to be a significant event for attracting investments into Turkmenistan’s economy, discussing key issues related to the implementation of new investment projects, and further developing international cooperation. The event is organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Prior to the forum, delegates will participate in a cultural program. On September 9, they will tour Ashgabat, visit the National Museum of Turkmen Carpet, and explore the Old Nisa historical and cultural reserve.
