TEHRAN( WNAM MONITORING): Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Akbar Ahmadian held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday.
Putin said that he is waiting for the visit of the President of Iran to Russia and the signing of the new agreement between the two countries.
“Friendly relations between the Russian Federation and Iran have gained momentum in recent years,” he added.
Ahmadian is visiting Russia to take part in the 14th Meeting of BRICS High-Ranking Officials Responsible for Security Matters/National Security Advisors.
The 14th Meeting of BRICS High-Ranking Officials responsible for security matters/National Security Advisors will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, from September 11 to 12.
