Dear Brothers!
I warmly congratulate you on the commencement of the XXV Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World! I am confident that this conference, held at a high organizational level in the year of “The Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy,” where every day is marked by national and international events, and on the eve of the main national holiday – Independence Day of Turkmenistan – will further strengthen our pride in our homeland and play a significant role in uniting Turkmens around the world and enhancing friendly ties!
At this stage of sovereign development, strengthening comprehensive relations with our compatriots living abroad is one of the key directions of the foreign policy of independent and permanently neutral Turkmenistan, which continues to develop political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian ties with foreign countries for the sake of global peace and prosperity. Turkmens of the world, witnessing the large-scale transformations taking place in the homeland, actively participate in many events held in our sovereign state, which is widely recognized as a partner country, uniting efforts for ensuring peace, prosperity, mutual understanding, and trust in the region and the world.
Today, many Turkmens of the world are engaged in activities in their homeland, making worthy contributions to the implementation of reforms.
The Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World plays an important role in strengthening international relations, promoting the rich culture, unique customs, and traditions, history, literature, and language of the Turkmen people. Established in 1991, the Association has become a prestigious organization making significant efforts to unite Turkmens worldwide. We have a lot of work ahead to further strengthen brotherly relations and develop effective cooperation in the economic, cultural, scientific-educational spheres, healthcare, and entrepreneurship, particularly in popularizing the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of our people.

In the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, our homeland, celebrating the 33rd anniversary of independence, is confidently moving forward toward high goals, implementing state reforms and noble initiatives. Based on our principles of “The State is for the People!” and “The Motherland is only a Motherland with its People! The State is only a State with its People!” Turkmenistan is carrying out historic activities and achieving great progress.
This year, the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great son of the Turkmen people, the outstanding poet and thinker of the East, Makhtumkuli Fraghi, is being widely celebrated. In the era envisioned by the great philosopher, the Turkmen state is strengthening its power and position in the world day by day. Thanks to stability, determination, unity, and the people’s great love for the Motherland, significant milestones are being achieved.

Bringing people together, promoting principles of friendship, humanism, and goodwill are our main goals. As a gift in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy, and the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, a new secondary school named after Magtymguly, with a capacity of 540 students, was ceremoniously opened in the Ergash Sultanov farming association in the Dusti district of Khatlon region, Republic of Tajikistan, during the first month of the golden autumn of 2024, on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth. In addition, in keeping with good tradition, laptops branded Bilimli were gifted to the new school by the Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. This demonstrates that the principles of friendship and humanism, deeply rooted in our people over millennia, have spread widely on the international stage.
