WNAM REPORT: Today, in the capital’s “Maslahat Köşgi” Palace, under the chairmanship of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a regular session of Turkmenistan’s Halk Maslahaty commenced.
The national forum, held ahead of the upcoming celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the country’s independence, will discuss crucial state matters aimed at ensuring the happiness and well-being of the Turkmen people, as well as the continued successful advancement of the country toward progress and prosperity.
In line with the ancient national traditions of genuine democracy and the modern democratic norms of Turkmen society, representatives from all layers of society and various generations, ranging from students to respected elders and honored mothers, were invited to participate in the session of the country’s highest representative body.
