WNAM MONITORING: The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from the State of Qatar led by Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, participating in a Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari conveyed greetings and best wishes from the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to the Leader of Uzbekistan.
The issues of further enhancing bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation, primarily in the trade and economic sphere, were discussed.
Promoting projects in green energy, transport, healthcare, tourism, infrastructure development, and other areas was emphasized.
It was noted that a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and a joint business forum will be held in Doha by the end of the year.
Attention was paid to the issues of intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchange.
