WNAM MONITORING: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on awarding a group of military personnel and employees of security agencies with the country’s medals.
The awarding is timed to coincide with the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence and is recognition of the merits of security forces in strengthening the sovereignty and defense capability of the state.
According to the decree, the medals will be awarded for significant contributions to ensuring security, maintaining law and order in the country. It is noted that the recipients demonstrated exemplary performance of official duties and achieved high results in combat training.
The President also emphasized the importance of the many years of impeccable service of the recipients for the benefit of Turkmenistan and its people. The decision to award was made taking into account the special merits of the security forces to the state and society, as well as their achievements in state and public work.
