WNAM REPORT: Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived at the building of the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Turkmenistan to participate in the International Forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – the Basis of Peace and Development,” As per reports.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov welcomed Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
As reported, following the talks, presidents Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Serdar Berdimuhamedov adopted the Declaration of Strengthening Friendship and Deepening Multifaceted Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
“For us, Turkmenistan is a very close country, a natural strategic partner. I would like to say that Kazakhstan has been and remains a reliable ally of Turkmenistan in all spheres mentioned by you – be it energy, transport, logistics, or cultural-humanitarian cooperation. We respect Turkmenistan’s neutral status in the international area. We consider that Turkmenistan hugely contributes to ensuring regional and international security. We are ready to closely interact with each other, first of all, within the UN and other international organizations,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at the meeting with the President of Turkmenistan.
