WNAM MONITORING: The international conference and exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2024” will be held in Ashgabat from October 23 to 25. A significant number of representatives of foreign companies and local businesses have already registered for the event, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
As reported at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the forum will include a plenary session on the topic of “New trends in the global energy market and prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation”, as well as six thematic sessions.
The conference will be attended by members of the government, heads of relevant ministries and departments, representatives of large oil and gas companies, the academic community, as well as heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov, the number of forum participants is growing every year, which indicates the increased interest of the international business community in cooperation with Turkmenistan in the oil and gas sector.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of this annual international event for the development of the country’s fuel and energy complex and the exchange of experience in the implementation of modern technologies in the oil and gas industry. The head of state instructed to ensure a high organizational level of the conference and exhibition.
