Ambassador Kistafin, Chairman CDA discuss Astana- Islamabad ties

ISLAMABAD( WNAM REPORT):  The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, met with the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority  Muhammad Ali Randhawa.
During the meeting, both sides discussed prospects and avenues for fostering cooperation between Astana and Islamabad.
Ambassador Y.Kistafin emphasized the importance of strengthening ties at the capital city level, noting the considerable potential for deepening cooperation. He highlighted the significance of recent SCO summits of Heads of State and Heads of Government held in Astana and Islamabad, particularly in the context of bilateral relations, and made special mention of the historic first visit of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan O. Bektenov to the capital of Pakistan.
The head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission also shared plans for upcoming initiatives aimed at furthering cooperation in the fields of trade and economics, agriculture, and IT.
For his part, Muhammad Ali Randhawa expressed strong interest in advancing cooperation with Kazakhstan’s capital and in overcoming existing barriers. He identified trade, investment, education, and cultural-humanitarian projects as key areas of focus.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to implement practical measures aimed at strengthening ties between the capitals of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
