WNAM MONITORING: President of France Emmanuel Macron welcomed his partner and friend Kazakhstani counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Paris.
“Welcome dear partner and friend. With your state visit, we celebrate the deep friendship that unites Kazakhstan and France, the Kazakhs and the French,” the post in Macron’s official X account reads in French and Kazakh.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan arrived in Paris on November 4 to pay the state visit. Earlier the Kazakh and French presidents had top-level talks in extended format and proceeded by holding a joint press conference and signing the Joint Declaration.
At the joint press conference, President Tokayev emphasized Kazakhstan stands ready to create favorable conditions for French companies, calling France ‘a close and reliable partner’.
The Kazakh and French Presidents also visited ‘Kazakhstan: Treasuries of the Great Steppe’ exhibition underway at the Guimet Museum in Paris.
Earlier Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Emmanuel Macron took a stroll in the gardens of Elysee Palace accompanied by Kazakh Tazy dogs.
