WNAM REPORT: From October 13 to 19, 2024, the Human Resource Development Network (HRDN) led a 15-member delegation to China for the nine-day “China Growth Model Training” program, emphasizing innovative growth strategies, sustainable development, and cross-cultural engagement. The program concluded with HRDN signing a landmark MoU with Lanzhou University on October 19, formalizing a partnership to provide Pakistani students and HRDN members with valuable access to expert insights, joint webinars, capacity building opportunities and educational exchanges.
As a membership-based organization with a nationwide footprint, HRDN connects professionals and experts across Pakistan. Throughout the program, delegates engaged with prominent experts, including Prof. Long, Prof. Li, and Sohail Khan Bangash, supported by HRDN’s Chairperson Dr. Roomi S. Hayat and CEO Ms. Robeela Bangash. The delegation explored advanced agricultural practices and sustainable livestock management, with key visits to Dingxi’s Potato Research Institute, Jupeng Forage, and the Gansu Hualing Yak Dairy Group. Cultural highlights included the Lanzhou University Museum and Bingling Cave Temple, blending professional insights with China’s rich heritage.
This partnership underscores HRDN’s commitment to bridging nations and advancing sustainable development knowledge, creating new avenues for learning and growth for Pakistan.
