WNAM REPORT: On November 20, 2024, an international online conference was held between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Sukhumi State University of Georgia, aimed at developing bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
The event was attended by leading professors and specialists, including Doctor of Sociological Sciences Ovezdurdy Mukhammedberdiev and Honored Journalist of Georgia Badri Nachkebia. The participants discussed prospects for expanding educational opportunities and exchanging experience between the two countries.
The key topics of the conference were issues of international educational cooperation, opportunities for online learning and training of future international specialists. Professors and students actively exchanged opinions, emphasizing the importance of inter-university cooperation.
The online meeting demonstrated the desire of Turkmenistan and Georgia to develop educational ties, which is part of a successful foreign policy strategy to bring national education systems up to international standards.
The result of the conference was the identification of new productive areas of cooperation between higher education institutions of the two friendly countries.
